You can just go through the words with a clear diction and the "journalistic intonation". They should one day show it to the public by giving shit to serious anchors as a joke. If you want an example you probably lived, look no further than presentation at school. You have basically two kind of presenters: those who go with the flow and know their material inside-out and those who run through the script and watch their own slides. The first ones can jump left and right after having answered a question, the second ones get quickly lost if interrupted. The first ones are less prone to tell bullshit, the second ones could tell anything without realizing it. Another example in school, people who write down what teacher dictate. Then the teacher says some stupid stuff and some students write it down. Boils down to the same mechanics, we are able to focus on one task to do it better and ignore the rest. A news anchor can read a script without needing it to make any sens. It's how blooper arise when the script is wrong, then the anchor read it and while reading the next lines, feels something is odd and "remember" what he reads then can't read the next line because he is distracted.
