Student: accuracy at the tens "Ah, yes, I took exactly 100mL" Thunderf00f: accuracy at the thousand "It's about right". I noticed that people who are scientifically versed tends to speak in approximation and it also shows on graphics where whiskers shows ^^ We had a physic homework (I am going back to school to switch career) and I was the only one to include the instrument precision into the graph. That information is quite vital because when your precision is the millimeter, it's possible that two values are about the same or really different. Without the whisker one reading the diagram may assume that two values are equals. Sadly, I seldom see those in diagrams. And on the abscissa, it's even rarer. Though, as much important. All that to say that you can spot someone who got some education without him having to use big words, but just how he handle data and report it. I find that quite amusing. The other funny thing is the use of the word "Theory" ^^
