@X2LR8 US History 101: Protesting, and even rioting, against extra taxes that specifically funded the red coats (police/military) = anti-authoritarian. Fighting against democracy to keep an unelected ruler in power (King George Trumpty Dumpty) = authoritarian. The only people who incited protests against police, were the police themselves, by killing people.
