@khbgkh The popular vote has matched the electoral vote in the vast majority of elections. All but something like 5 elections would have turned out exactly the same. Also, simply being an "electoral college" doesn't require electorals to be distributed unevenly. It would still be an "electoral college", if they were distributed evenly. It was the freezing of the number of house seats, in the 1930s, that has increased the imbalance, making it less democratic.

@khbgkh Where did I claim she won? I simply explained that there hasn't been any difference in outcome, between popular and electoral, for all but 5 elections. The prize using either method would have been exactly the same, in all but 5 elections. And, I explained that the electoral count could be just as representative as the popular count, if the seats in congress hadn't been frozen, and still be an electoral college. Electorals could be evenly distributed, by population, and it would still be an "electoral college", but it would never produce a different outcome than the popular.

@khbgkh And I don't really care if you don't care about any other point. My point is that the electoral college could almost exactly represent the popular vote. Yes, Trump and Bush were horrible. How is me pointing out the problem of why they "won", "underselling" the problem?
