  1. Ummm, Venezuela has a mixed economy, just like almost every other country on the planet. They simply have an economy heavily dependent on one resource. Quality of electrical service went down, and costs went up, when our service went just semi-private. They do as little as possible, to keep costs down, but charge as much as they can get away with, to maximize profits.
