@jashshah5049 Fascists often come to power in democracies, so mentioning India is a democracy doesn't mean Modi isn't a fascist. He's an Hindutva nutter. Tulsi opposed denying Modi a visa after Gujarat riots. She opposed religious freedom and human rights being included in dialogue with Indian national and state officials. She vocally supported Modi being elected. She brought him a gift, when he came to the US. She hobnobbed with him, and other Hindutva members on her visit to India. India, representing almost the entirety of the "Hindu world", is ranked worse than Saudi, for the treatment of women.

@jashshah5049 Take 2. Someone is clearly triggered, dimwit, by the fact that India was rated the most dangerous country for women, which would include being more dangerous than all Muslim countries. Previously, it was rated 4th worst, still making it worse than the vast majority of Muslim majority countries combined. India's gender inequality score is higher than most of the large population Muslim majority countries, plus a bunch more smaller Muslim majority countries than just Saudi. There's no evidence combing Muslim majority countries would make them worse than India for women.

There's still an FCC protecting their delicate sensibilities from naughty words and nipples. Right wing nationalists promoted firing people for kneeling, because kneeling made them melt. Right wingers, corporate Dems included, have passed anti-bds laws. Giant corporations, run by centibillionaires, aren't even leftists, by a long shot. It's not even comparable how much more right wingers love censorship, and have used the law, military, and violence, to do it, over the years. They just tried to cancel the democratic process, ffs. Push for public ownership, if you want freedom of speech. You don't care when the actual government makes it harder, or more dangerous, to protest. You don't really care about the actual government violating free speech rights. You don't care when Marge threatens to cancel cell phone businesses, if they comply with a lawful subpoena. You don't care about calls to fire athletes, and don't care when they're told to shut up and dribble. You don't care when right wing mouthpieces cut people's mics, or kick them off the air. You don't care about calls to cancel Nike, Disney, Captain Marvel, or whoever right wingers are upset with that day. Plenty of lefties have been banned, or suspended from social media. Again, those running social media aren't lefties. The FB PAC has donated more to Republicans than Democrats. The FB algorithm was found to be promoting right wingers, like Shapiro. They just don't like extremist nutbars promoting a civil war, or promoting mass death. Corporations want society running smoothly, and don't want their consumer base dying off in large numbers. They want to keep making large quantities of money. Treat it like a public utility? Don't right wingers want to privatize "public utilities", like in Texas? You hypocrites are all for privatization, and free markets, until it bites you in the ass.
