If something is being considered a crime, being investigated like a crime, charging people like a crime, prosecuting people like a crime, and convicting people like a crime, what's to protest? Are people supposed to protest the local gang hideout, or what? On the other hand, if something isn't being treated like a crime, etc., should everyone just ignore the police corruption?

@robinsss Most violent crime is same race vs same race, because most is domestic, or between people who know each other. And they're already being treated like criminals. Why, in the middle of a discussion about cops behaving badly, do you want to change the subject, to that? Pretty sure you don't want to talk about crime and poverty going hand in hand, that black Americans have double the percentage in poverty, and ways to remedy that. So, why is it you want it talked about it, if not simply to whatabout and deflect from cops behaving badly?

@robinsss But even the right wing media doesn't mention it, until something about a cop is brought up. It's generally only mentioned to interrupt a conversation about a cop. And, again, what is it you want to discuss about it?

@robinsss Rofl, they don't tend to talk about black on black crime, and possible solutions, when they mention Chicago. They mention Chicago with gun violence and gun laws, dishonestly using Chicago totals to paint a false narrative. Chicago is a large city. Going by per capita rates, St Louis is actually the gun violence capital of the US. Do you want to talk about poverty and crime going hand in hand, poverty levels being higher in red states, and actually do something about the black American poverty rate? Do you want to talk about how firearm mortality rates and homicide rates tend to be higher in states with less gun control, and actually do something to reduce those numbers? Those aren't solutions right wingers tend to want to discuss.
