@area51sea Have you considered international travel rates? Have you considered that they're already dying younger, on average, so there's less older people (the median age is 18, compared to Europe's 42)? Have you considered that there's less obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease? You should compare actually comparable countries, dumb dumb. The US had a 2.5x higher death rate than neighboring Canada (where people followed protocols better, and are vaccinated at higher rates). Or comparable counties ... moronic MAGA counties (where people were less likely to follow protocols or get vaccinated) had higher death rates than Biden counties.

Same with seatbelts and airbags. You can just use two cars for the analogy. One speeding, drunk, no seatbelts, no airbags, as the unvaccinated.

Well, it also has to do with the type of virus. Some viruses trigger lifelong immunity, some decades, some years, and some only months. COVID seems to be like the flu, in that regard, and only triggers antibodies for months.
