@cometclear But, if the US was siding with the more secular Afghanis, and the Taliban are the religious extremists, then isn't it most likely that the more religious Afghanis want to stay and the more secular ones want to leave? Seems stupid to use a survey of all Afghanis, rather than a survey of just the ones who want to leave. The entire 40% they referred to could be amongst the Taliban, and none amongst refugees.
