  1.  @ng-marc  Labour is doing much better in highly unionized Scandinavian countries. Danish unions have negotiated an average minimum wage of about $20/hr. Swedish unions have negotiated for companies to pay for worker retraining, and they've got an 85% success rate. That's how you get corporations to "pay their fair share". That's how you "tax" automation. Handing consumers $3t will only speed up automation, because consumers are lazy, and will still spend about $30b of that on Amazon, making Amazon and Bezos even richer.
