  1. Part of the problem, here, is that ... even though BLM may get more support from non-black "leftists", on the ground and in congress ... BLM itself doesn't necessarily equate to a "leftist" movement. Many black voters voted Biden over Bernie. Plus, there is plenty of evidence that black Americans, on average, are charged more often, indicted more often, and given harsher sentences, for the same crimes. Poor white criminals can still benefit from white privilege. There could very well be black store owners being given harsher treatment, for the same thing his mom did, which would mean she still benefited from white privilege.
