In a room with Jimmy in the centre of the room, and everyone else distanced from him by political difference, he starts throwing punches at those closest to him, first, and as often as possible, and rarely gets to punching those around the edge of the room.

@GlassesAndCoffeeMugs Jimmy and AOC both want M4A. They simply disagree on what? Whether forcing a vote now, that is guaranteed to fail, will accomplish anything. And yet he calls her a fake progressive, baselessly claims she's a paid opposition shill, etc., etc. If you're looking for someone to tell not to make such a big deal over small differences, go to Jimmy's channel. And, the reverse should be that he make a bigger deal over bigger differences, so maybe most of his videos should be attacking Republicans.

The DSA (you know, the socialist organization AOC is an actual member of, not just democratic socialist in name, and not simply endorsed by them) has been having M4A rallies. Jimmy could be reporting about those, encouraging people to get out to those, instead of attacking those who are his best shot in the House of being fakes and shills. Jimmy could be letting everyone and anyone know about the latest CBO report, instead of arguing over a pointless vote. People are just arguing about a vote, and best procedures, not actually discussing the benefits of M4A, convincing others of the benefits, etc. If anyone is a capitalist shill, it's Jimmy. He seems to be going the way of Dave Rubin, finding it's good money to claim to be a lefty, while constantly attacking the politicians that are the most left leaning.

@zelenskysboot361 A "public option" is making it optional to sign up for, and pay into, the public health insurance plan. Can Australians simply opt out of paying into the public plan?

@zelenskysboot361 No, they can't opt out of paying the basic Medicare levy. They also can't opt out of the taxes that the general fund uses to pay for the Medicare shortfall. What higher income people can do is opt out of an extra surcharge by paying for their own optional private insurance (a private option). That is different than a "public option".
