Catching 10x more fish than you need to survive isn't "wealth inequality". It's depopulating your food source, like a moron, just so you can have a pile of rotten fish.

@MRTN13 Hehe, I love RPGs, but most are ancap madness, when it comes to economics. "Please save our village hero!", "Oh, you need a magic sword?", "That'll be 1000000 gp."

@robinsss You are seriously arguing hard about this, in multiple threads. Are you the caller?
16
@SoundsSilver Yes, coercion is force, or threat. The threat is me letting you fall to your death, if you don't hand over your money.
8
@matthewwolfe9417 Well, those are mostly pretenders. I mean the actual Libertarians that debate whether driver's licenses are a good idea.
7
@robinsss No, the caller wasn't right. Coercion is by force, or threat. The threat is me letting you drop to your death, if you don't hand me your money.

@harveymanfredsenjenson5417 Why are you still knocking religious studies, after arguing half of them make more than multi millionaires? Noxinfluencer also says about the same amount of views in the last 30 days. Are you counting his thousands of videos by hand, or something? What's your total? Can you even count over double digits, since you failed grade school?
6
@robinsss Just how stupid are you? Are you going to get pulled up, if you don't pay?

@SoundsSilver There doesn't even have to be a physical threat. Scenario 1: A student writes an A grade paper. The teacher threatens to give them a C if the student doesn't have sex with them. Scenario 2: A student writes a C grade paper. The teacher threatens to let the C stand, if the student doesn't have sex with them, and will upgrade it to an A, if they do. It's moronic to argue that scenario 2 isn't coercion, simply because the student isn't entitled to an A. Being entitled is also irrelevant to whether something is coercion, or not. You clearly don't understand the meaning of the word.

@harveymanfredsenjenson5417 Oh lol, it's the grade school dropout, who doesn't know how median income works. 6.952 million views in the past 30 days, according to socialblade. Seems like a few.
5
@harveymanfredsenjenson5417 Rofl. How is citing a second source "moving the goalpost", dumb dumb? Seems like another term you don't comprehend.
5
@SoundsSilver You're clearly the one demonstrating that you don't know what coercion means.
4
@SoundsSilver There's also a difference of proportion between threatening to punch someone and threatening to kill someone. There both still threats and, if there's a demand involved, coercion. You're blathering about irrelevant nonsense, that doesn't change the definition.
4
@SoundsSilver All on their own, the student wrote a C grade paper (all on their own, someone fell off a cliff edge). The "rescuer" is offering them an A, for a reward (offering to help them up for a reward), threatening to let the C stand, if they don't (threatening to leave them hanging, if they don't). You're clearly not very bright, if you can't grasp simple analogies.
4
@matthewwolfe9417 Yeah, everytime the Republicans have jumped right, the "moderates" have met them in the new "middle".
4
@harveymanfredsenjenson5417 Awww, poor baby, did he "smear" someone you have feelings for? Who was it?
4
@SoundsSilver Again, the level of threat is irrelevant to whether something is coercion, or not. There is a threat of a negative outcome, in both cases. There is a power imbalance in both cases. The rescuer is in the position of power. There are duty to rescue laws in multiple countries. Just spouting that something is illegal, or not, is also irrelevant to whether something is coercion, or not. You clearly can't grasp even a simple analogy.

@matthewwolfe9417 Capital L Libertarians.
3
@SoundsSilver No. There are three options, not just two. There is also the option that I simply save you (nobody argued it was going to risk my life), and you'd still have your money, which would be of value to you. When I say I won't rescue you, unless you hand over your money, then I'm threatening to let you die, if you don't hand over your money.
2
@SoundsSilver You've proven you're not very bright, at this point. It's just a statement of fact.
2
@Subzearo The answer is for both of us to depopulate the food source, just so we can both hoard rotting fish? Are you sure?
1
@Subzearo Yes, it would be stupid.
1
@paxaeterna3709 What does that have to do with anything? Whether you're slow, or fast, there's a point where you're taking more than you need ... more than you can eat ... and any more will just rot.
