The larger scale of Gaza doesn't change the fact that Israel controls the borders, ports, airspace, electricity, water, who goes in and out, what goes in and out, and Netanyahu even controlled the money from Qatar, having stopped and started it multiple times.

Read The Iron Wall, by their founder Ze'ev Jabotinsky. Revisionist newspaper Hazit Ha'am, on "Hitlerism": "the anti-Semitic husk should be discarded, but not its anti-Marxist inside" Basically the same thing.

They became the Irgun and Lehi. The Lehi also tried to ally with the Italians, Germans, and Vichy, during WWII, and kept fighting against the British.
