What bugged me most about the movie was that they went into detail about why you couldn't just kill baby Thanos, because it would create an alternate timeline, and then they spent all kinds of time on creating at least 3 alternate timelines: one where two Captain Americas exist instead of just one; one where Loki disappears with the tesseract; and one where Thanos just disappears, because he jumped into the future and died, before ever gathering all the stones.
