Hint: A number of other countries have had much better covid outcomes, by better following covid measures and getting more people vaccinated. So, whichever side is fighting those things are the ones politicizing it.

@garyhamlin3299 Except they did work. Australia's covid deaths per million would translate into about 850k fewer US covid deaths. Even Canada's more mediocre response would translate into about 600k fewer US covid deaths. The US covid response was utterly pathetic.

@garyhamlin3299 What, like the UK, where moron Boris also didn't take things very seriously? Testing rates (tests per confirmed case) is one of those covid measures, and the UK was testing at a pathetically low rate, just like the US. They weren't even trying to get ahead of the virus.

@garyhamlin3299 Yeah, give me an example of a country that followed covid measures pretty good, and things still got as out of hand as the US. WHO advises at minimum testing should be in the range of 10-30 people per confirmed case. The UK, France, US, Spain, and Italy, were testing under 10 people for months of 2020, as things got out of hand. Canada, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Finland, got within that range fairly quickly. Australia, New Zealand, S Korea, Vietnam, got to testing over 50 people fairly quickly.
