Nothing a capitalist can say will change the fact that trading, and owning, private property is capitalism. Not considering other human beings to actually be human beings, and trading them like cattle, other livestock, or other property, is capitalism.

@mehrshadvr4 Andrew Yang is an idiot who would have had money flowing to the very top faster than ever before, if he were in power. And, one capitalist being nice still wouldn't change the fact that buying and selling human beings is capitalism, anyway.

@mehrshadvr4 No, I'm just someone who knows how a VAT actually works. A VAT is specifically designed to NOT tax businesses in order to avoid double taxation (which would be worse anyway). Yang even linked to a pass through rate study that he didn't grasp, which showed consumers were paying the entire VAT. If you don't have giant corporations paying into the dividend, like Yang falsely kept claiming they would, then they only get the benefits of it being spent, funneling trillions more a year to the very top.
