For such a fan of "underrated" actor, Jimmy Stewart, Ben seems to have not seen the numerous serious rolls Jimmy has played.

@jamesamick3298 Great movie. I really liked The Man From Laramie, as well, from that bunch. I like that those characters seem very human, rather than some superhero gunfighters. His, and everyone else's, performances in The Shootist were also moving. With everyone knowing Wayne had been waging a protracted losing war against cancer for a decade, the performances felt very real. Similar to his Vertigo performance, his Rear Window performance was well done. One of the great serious actors.
