  3.  @InvertedInsideout  How is giving money to someone to influence them not bribery? Don't know how I could be thinking about it wrong, when that's the textbook definition of bribery. Shouldn't the goal be to get money out of politics?

  5.  @DJBenjoyer  Let's say I'm quite sure a Repub would win my district, so I dump all my democracy dollars to the Repub candidate in the next district over. Why not get money right out of politics?

  6.  @caseyfergus6614  Aside from being bribery, why isn't this like food stamps? Yang argues against food stamps, because that's the government making people spend X amount of what they're getting on food. Why doesn't he simply hand people $200 more dollars, and let them decide if they want to put it towards a politician's campaign, or spend it on Christmas presents?
