You missed a step in your timeline of current events. Between the eviction ruling and Hamas rockets ... first came Palestinian protests, then came Israel's authoritarian response to protesters, then came Israel storming the mosque firing rubber bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades, then came Israel occupying the mosque area, then came a Hamas warning for them to leave, which Israel ignored ... then came rockets.

  4.  @bohanxu6125  Rofl. US history was a lot like that. You're just leaving out all the colonizing and colonizer instigations, because you clearly have a bias in this case. Settlers moved out into native lands or did something else to piss off the natives which violated those treaties, the natives reacted, sometimes with violence, the settlers acted like poor innocent victims of angry natives, the calvary were called in and chased off or killed the natives in the area, and the US expanded their border. Rinse and repeat for 100+ years. You, making out like it was generous of the US to offer the natives treaties and reservations (treaties and borders that the US violated numerous times), making out like it's wrong to fight off colonization, is nonsense. The Israel situation is no more complicated.
