Not really that ambiguous. A1, S6, C2: "no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office" That is generally understood to apply to the presidency, and bars someone from simultaneously being a member of congress and president (separation of powers). The wording of the 14th is almost identical. "No person shall" ... "hold any office, civil or military, under the United States"

@useyourbrain1539 The wording is identical. "Any office under the United States" has always been understood to apply to the president. If one applies to the office of the president, then both should.

@useyourbrain1539 That would be the judge the OP is talking about, and what I replied about. The judge is making no sense, unless they want to end the separation of powers, and let someone simultaneously be a president and a member of congress.

@micwilliams7743 Rofl. North American oil companies are the ones who want oil prices as high as possible, because it costs 3-9x more to extract oil in North America than the ME. If prices keep dropping, they're fucked.
