As for the global market, it's exactly because US companies are slower to change (just like when they wouldn't change to more fuel efficient cars, fell behind, and needed a bailout), that they're behind China and Europe. Pushing them to catch up with the global reality, will only help them. Umm, Republicans were opposed to more charging stations, etc., dumb dumb.
