  1. RCMP are federal. We've also got provincial police and city police. Also, Canada's population is about 10x less then the US. Both the cop killings and cop deaths should be adjusted for population, for a proper comparison. Being a cop is safer than being a garbage man, in the US. Guns, or not, there's no real justification for the amount of force US cops use. If they're that afraid, then they shouldn't be cops.
