Shooting firemen with water cannons is ironic.

I guess everyone can now fight DUI charges by arguing that medical conditions weren't ruled out. Right?
512
And it likely would have been cheaper just to give her extra funding, if that's what she needed.
217
Pretty sure a business can tell you to wear a mask, or get out, just like they can tell you to wear a shirt and shoes.

Where's Canada? Tons of fresh water, energy sources, and its arable land has actually been increasing with global warming.

@alexluckey6412 He gave him the id he had. The student didn't even seem to know that some id has an address on it. He probably doesn't drive. You're not required by law to have an id with an address on you. You're not even required by law to have any id on you. He told the cop who he was and that he lived in that building. He did identify himself.

Wearing articles of clothing is oppressive!!!

@女に人權無し Which UK culture, exactly? The Celtic culture, almost wiped out by the Romans? The Roman culture almost wiped out by the Anglo-Saxons? The Pictish culture almost wiped out by Irish Scots? The Anglo-Saxon culture almost wiped out by Normans and Danes? The Welsh and Scottish cultures almost wiped out by the English? The Irish Catholic culture almost wiped out by Protestant Brits? The UK has gone through a ton of changes, adapting and absorbing different cultures, that have changed it a bit each time.

Yep. We're not quick learners, us humans. "First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me"

@kt550 Moron, Bernie has an average net worth for people over 55, and wants to tax even himself, to give all Americans healthcare. He already has healthcare. To give all Americans an education. He already has an education. Etc. Nothing Bernie is fighting for is any real benefit to him ... unlike Trump cutting his own and family's taxes, funneling government funds into his own businesses, feeding his narcissistic ego, etc.
38
Strange how the US has about double the deaths to confirmed cases ratio, than the global average, with such a genius in charge.
35
@nadrile That's not an ad hominem.
33
@brinalee3362 Stop your unpresidented covfefe and go eat a hamberder, moron.
30
@LazloVimes I expect firemen to be shooting water not getting shot by water. I think you just didn't think things through.
27
@Robert Alan You know that not everyone in "liberal cities" is liberal, right? If they're older, odds are they're more conservative. Older people dying would make the cities more liberal.
26
Do you have more of a right to shoot someone in the back 7 times, if they have a record?
26
The OSS psychological profile of Hitler described his use of the big lie: His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.
26
@useyourbrain1539 Then you must be incredibly concerned that Trump nearly doubled the deficit, by 2019, yeah?
25
He didn't answer the question though, and give Dumpty any advice.
25
Time's Up John You know free speech doesn't apply to private property, right? A restaurant owner doesn't have to let an Armageddon preacher into his restaurant to shout at the customers any more than a Dean has to let you use one of their auditoriums, or Twitter has to let you be a twit and post whatever you want on their website. I'm also pretty sure conservatives were the first to actually curtail free speech with actual laws (banning certain words their delicate ears couldn't handle hearing, banning certain books, banning certain images, etc.).
23
She knows. She got her schooling from the Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, which were specifically founded for white kids only, to avoid desegregation ... literally founded on racism. They acknowledged admitting their first non-white student in 1989, the year she graduated, which means she had been considered white the whole time. It also means there was zero possible chance of her having black school friends growing up.
21
Fired him for getting caught.
21
Those things aren't mutually exclusive, dumb dumb. Almost all modern republics are representative democracies, including the US.
20
For example?
18
@LliamMoore That didn't really explain why they do do it, just why they can do it.
17
@LliamMoore What fraud? Republican state legislatures kept rules that say mail in votes are counted after election day votes. And then Republicans whine and cry about mail in votes being counted after election day votes. And they want vote counting here stopped, and vote counting there finished. Republicans are absolute lunatics, at this point. Why not go unarmed? Who are they afraid of?
16
What flip flopping? She has always been both Indian and Afro-Jamaican. She wasn't the first black senator (black father), just like Obama wasn't the first white president (white mother), so those halves are irrelevant, when reporting firsts.
16
BMO Math says he has lost.
16
What things, if it's not passing laws? Red states tend to have higher firearm morality and homicide rates. Is he sure no laws will help?
15
@SamyasaSwi If the facts make the US look too bad, they seem to think there's a bias. These aren't people that look at facts objectively. The founders protested and rioted against extra taxes that specifically funded the police/military, against a lack of representation (anti-authoritarian). Their opponents fought against democracy to keep an unelected ruler in power (authoritarian). Republicans look at that and somehow think they're most like the founders, as they side with blue lives over black and try to overthrow the democratic process to install a dictator.
12
@AMultipolarWorldIsEmerging Well, Florida's Hispanics are largely white Cubans, like Ted Cruz, descended from Spaniards. Plus, the majority came in the first two waves of fascist Batista family, friends, government, military, and wealthy who benefited from the fascism. They came by boat "illegally" and participated in some 200 terrorist attacks on US soil. Those kinds of Hispanics are okay. Just not the ones descended from natives, because Native American ones are somehow "invading" and "replacing" descendants of Europeans in the Americas.

"In 1997, at age 20, Mullin took over his father's business, Mullin Plumbing, when his father fell ill."
11
@ronaldweaver9308 Rofl, what do you think the constitution has to do with this kind of situation?
11
@ronaldweaver9308 Rofl, you are so dumb.
11
The US death to confirmed cases ratio is almost the worst in the world, indicating there are far more carriers wandering around in public. You also need to make the testing free, so people don't have to weigh costs vs how bad their symptoms are.
11
That's not what that is.
11
@truthache8560 If you think the world started on Oct 7, you're the one who has ignored a lot.
10
@darkpsychoelf1701 Could be a play on words, since pain is a feeling.
10
Max Power Rofl. The EU has about 1.4m active personnel and the US has about 1.3m, and France and the UK have nukes. Russia has about 900k active personnel. Who do you think the US is saving Europe from?
10
Axl Dave Yeah, all the Confederate flag waving white supremacists are at unite the left rallies, these days. Moron.
10
@2bRealist Your average bouncer could have probably taken him down without a gun, before he got to his car door. Why is it people like you don't expect police to be better trained than bouncers?
9
@New2Haven Are you against the government requiring people to wear articles of clothing, in general, or just articles of clothing that might have a medical benefit, and protect kids from not only catching the virus, but to protect them from being carriers, and possibly killing their stupid parents, or others?
9
Agree with most above, buy wouldn't include police and military as socialism. They're more the authoritarian axis, and even capitalist extremists, like Ayn Rand, kept a justice system and National defence. The VA hospitals, though ... 100% socialized.
9
@LazloVimes You're ironic.
9
@LazloVimes No, dumb dumb, I meant you're ironic ... making out like you're knowledgeable while proving yourself ignorant.
9
If there's a nursing shortage, then not enough citizens are training for those jobs, and she's not taking anyone's job.
8
@Crayolapup Resisting arrest can be a misdemeanor. Shouldn't come with a death sentence (or an attempted one). You guys seem to be arguing that these 3 cops are just too weak to subdue one guy. They shouldn't be cops, if that's the case.
8
@theangryquad3127 So? 4 years ago, Trump was just a spoiled brat, fake billionaire, and reality tv show host.
8
I think Australia has a non native rabbit problem, amongst some problems other non native species. So, might help.
8
@CoolhandLukeSkywalkr Cut your typing time, next time ... just say, "Hi everybody! I'm a moron!"
