  1. She knows. She got her schooling from the Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, which were specifically founded for white kids only, to avoid desegregation ... literally founded on racism. They acknowledged admitting their first non-white student in 1989, the year she graduated, which means she had been considered white the whole time. It also means there was zero possible chance of her having black school friends growing up.
