  1. I'm torn. Being polite, and dishonestly supportive, is how you get talentless contestants, that think they're awesome, competing on talent shows. If you're doing something purely for fun, for personal enjoyment, absolutely nobody can take that away from you. If you're doing it because you think you're good at it, and are maybe going to go somewhere with it, then you're going to get critiqued.
