@Nutrollio Covid's 1% infection fatality rate is 2x the polio paralysis rate, and 20x the polio infection fatality rate, plus it's a lot more contagious. That 1% infection fatality rate is also 4x the death rate for automobile accidents, and again far more widespread. Do you think a 1% infection fatality rate is insignificant, or something?

@DuderofDudeness You can force (pick up) a baby and stop it from doing the dangerous thing, make it sit and listen to you, and use reward and punishment to teach it to make better choices. Kind of a false equivalency, unless you have some way to make him stop and listen to you, and some way to change his mind. Unless you can do that, you're only asking people to tolerate complete ignorance.
