@robertcampbell6042 If you actually know the timeline, then you're making no sense. Israel was evicting Palestinians with a racist law. Israel responded violently to protests. Israel stormed and occupied the mosque. That was followed by Hamas giving them a warning (equivalent to a "knock") to leave or they'd fire rockets. Israel ignored the warning.

Are you "absolving" Israel of starting the violence, injuring dozens of Palestinians, and occupying a site they fully knew would piss people off? Or, are you putting more blame on only one of 3 disproportionate responses, for some reason? You know Israel was founded on terrorism, and by terrorists, right? PM Begin had been leader of the Irgun, that bombed the King David Hotel, and committed other terrorist acts.

Fat Cat I am talking about the current situation, dimwit. There were protests over the home evictions. The IDF injured hundreds of Palestinians cracking down on protesters. There were hundreds of Palestinians in and around the mosque who were injured, when the IDF then stormed and occupied the mosque. You seem very okay with attacking and assaulting certain civilians. Then you're okaying Israel's response directed at many civilians, and killing them. So, stop pretending like you're opposed to violence or death directed at civilians. You're only opposed to it for certain civilians, and more than okay with it against certain other civilians. You're a Palestinian hater, by your own argument. Your questions were framed improperly, again ignoring the initial violent actions. Try answering mine. How would the US respond if the Mexican military stormed and occupied El Paso?

@Fat Cat They injured dozens of people with rubber bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades, and seized Palestinian property, dimwit. The point is that right wingers often argue that it's okay to kill people, if they assault you, or try to take your property. They haven't forgotten the US's position of power. What is it you expect them to do to suddenly become the majority of congress?

Social media use that was just used to help add a few more progressives to congress, and remove a few more corporate Dems. Social media use that was used widely to try and get Bernie elected. They seem to be doing things you're claiming they aren't doing.

That could include anyone voting for corporate Dems, to moderate Republicans, to independents that lean in one of those two directions, to Libertarians, to the outright fascists. The younger voters, who vote the least, have been specifically targeted by progressives, to try and get them out, a ton. Independents have been specifically targeted, before, as well. M4A is consistently gaining support. More pro-M4A candidates were just added to congress. It was barely even being talked about, in mainstream conversation, pre 2016.

@britishrocklovingyank3491 Well, technically, I think Bernie and progressives are centrists, in the real world, which does make anyone right of them, centre-right, right, or far right. I don't think there's an actual left in US politics. Denmark is a centrist country. Who is proposing anything that would move the US to the left of Denmark? You think there's some massive non political faction, other than young people? Have you run across many people claiming to be independents? A lot of them are very political.
