@user-em6ie2be7x Manchin is really really bad, but zero Republicans voted for the covid relief bill. It wouldn't have passed with an actual Republican in that seat. He's the worst of the Democrats, but that's still not as bad as a purely obstructionist Republican, a party that largely embraced overt fascism, and want to install an unelected dictator.

@jonathanthompson4077 Maybe. But Justice Dems and AOC tried backing some progressives in very conservative areas, and they got smoked in the primaries. Another problem with Manchin and Sinema is that they're in office until 2025. Need to handle 2022, first.
