@ZereayM The Taliban call themselves the "real" Muslims, too, and don't consider more moderate Muslims to be "real" Muslims. Either one saying the other isn't a "real" Muslims is using a not a true Scotsman argument. Some gay hating Southern Baptist is a Christian, and a Quaker is a Christian. All well and good for the Quaker to denounce the gay hater, but they don't have the power to disown them from Christianity.

@ZereayM There are plenty of Christians behaving badly, Hindus behaving badly, Jews behaving badly, even atheistic Buddhists behaving badly, socialists behaving badly, capitalists behaving badly, Americans behaving badly, Mexicans behaving badly, etc, etc., etc. There's a difference between Islamophobes portraying all Muslims and Islam in a singular horrible light, and simply acknowledging that there are some Muslims behaving badly.
