@finnsweet3544 Why didn't he oppose the annexation of land from a neighboring county? Why didn't he oppose the first zoning plan, approved in November? All he did was oppose a new plan, that included affordable housing. Now they go back to their original plan.

@divineintervention212 The company doesn't need anyone on board. They already own the land, dimwit. A prior zoning plan was already approved in Nov., which they can move forward with. It was them, the company, that was going allocate some of that land to the city, to build some affordable housing.

No pricing was given for affordable housing. It was simply allocating some of the land for affordable housing. The prices given are for the non affordable housing.

He only showed up to block a new zoning plan, that included affordable housing. The development is still happening, just without affordable housing, now.

So, when the company first bought the property, why didn't Dave make his threat then? When the town was annexing land from the neighboring county, that the developers owned, why didn't Dave make his threat then? When the first zoning plan was approved in Nov, why didn't Dave make his threat then? Why did he only make his threat against the second zoning plan, that included allocating some of the land for affordable housing? Now, it's just back to the already approved zoning plan, that Dave didn't make a threat against.

@h..8083 I found that the developers bought the property over a year ago, and didn't find anything about Dave making threats, then. Some of that land was in a neighboring county, so the city annexed that, last summer, and didn't find anything about Dave making threats, then. The developers already introduced a first zoning plan, that was approved in Nov, and didn't find anything about Dave making threats, then. Then came this second zoning plan, which included assigning land to affordable housing, and lo and behold, Dave shows up making threats against it. Now it's just back to the original zoning plan.
