Harris is an idiot. I can't even figure out how he got a philosophy degree, he's so bad at it.

He talks out of both ends of his ass. He'll spend some time criticizing the NRA, but then he'll spout NRA talking points, call his non-gun owning friends stupid, and dismiss factual firearm ownership statistics as being rational. https://samharris.org/the-riddle-of-the-gun/

He spouts his constant appeals to emotion in a calm, monotone, manner, as well, making some people think he's totally logical.

@xxcrysad3000xx Bernie is considered centre-left, in normal countries. Hillary is right of centre, in normal countries. Harris was Hillary over Bernie. Harris bashes the left all the time. He sides with totally insane and/or moronic Republicans on a number of issues.

@LividImp What does scale have to do with per capita rates? Overall, firearm mortality rates tend to be higher in low regulation states. Alaska definitely doesn't have the most people and it's the worst. New York State, with a high population, is one of the best. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/firearm_mortality/firearm.htm

@LividImp What do you mean it has nothing to do with rates? Rates give your actual odds of getting shot. Alaska clearly doesn't have a larger and more diverse populous than New York.

@masterfushi730 "tend" =\= all Of the top twenty states with the highest homicide rates, the vast majority are low regulation states. Which includes Nevada, btw. You're more than twice as likely to get murdered in Nevada than New York. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/homicide_mortality/homicide.htm

@masterfushi730 If there are 14 Fs in the upper half, and 8 Fs in the lower half, do Fs tend to have higher homicide rates? If there is 1 A in the upper half, and 6 As in the lower half, do As tend to have lower homicide rates?
