Whether you think the laws no longer apply, or not, that's supposedly the same god ... committing genocide; ordering genocide; ordering to bash people in the head with rocks, for non belief, for speaking of other religions, for working, even doing chores, on the Sabbath; okaying enslaving non Israelites for life, and passing them down as inheritance; etc., etc., etc.

Why would you believe Paul spoke to undead Jesus, but not believe laws were handed down to Moses from God? Numbers 15:32 While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, 34 and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.” 36 So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses.

@hoodootheclown929 Doesn't matter, if Christians think things changed. Even the NT says James said Gentiles need to be told to follow Noahide laws, to start, and would learn the laws of Moses in church, before there ever was a new testament, and the only Bible was the Tanakh. If it's the same God, then it considered smashing people's brains out, with rocks, to be "good".

The fact of the matter is that the book says those old laws were handed down by the same God, that Christians still claim is all good. They're still claiming ordering genocide was all good. Still claiming that ordering to bash someone's head in with a rock was all good. Etc.

@ncwordman Then what have you been blathering about? You know people are actually still practicing Judaism and Christianity, yeah, and most peddle that their book is the truth, yeah? So, why are you comparing it to a defunct mythology?

@ncwordman What are you dimwits failing to grasp? It's not that the ancient people did X. It's that modern Christians still claim the God who ordered all that OT violence is all good, and the vast majority do not claim the OT is a myth, or whatever game you're playing.

@ncwordman Can't copy and paste in the phone app. How does the fact that it's actually fiction apply to people who don't believe it's actually fiction? They don't believe it's fiction, and they literally point at their book, to justify most of their claims. Christians do not claim the OT is fiction. They accept that it happened, accept that their God dictated those ancient laws, and still consider their God to be good. Nothing you've been blathering about is relevant to any of that.
