On the other hand, there are multiple far right politicians, spouting Ayn Rand crap. The US political spectrum ranges from far right to centre-left. There is no real left wing in government. The "radical" progressives point at developed centrist countries to emulate, not the USSR or anarchist Spain. Even outside professional politics, the "extreme" left is tossing milkshakes, destroying property, and getting into some fights. The extreme right is running over people with their cars, shooting up mosques, shooting up synagogues, shooting up black churches, is behind a rise in hate crimes, and behind a rise in domestic terrorism. You seem to be spouting some false equivalency.
