  1. The electoral college isn't inherently disproportionate. It was a 1929 bill that froze the number of seats in the house, that also froze the number of electorals, which has become increasingly disproportionate. There was also a 1941 bill that calculates how electorals are distributed, and the math seems off. Theoretically, it should be easier to repeal those bills and redo distribution, than to make a constitutional amendment. If they have enough to make a constitutional amendment, they should ditch the senate, or at least merge it with the house, instead of being a completely separate undemocratic body, that can override the house.
