  1.  @cqtaylor  Some might argue that, if the US hadn't entered WWI, there might not have been a WWII, because stalemate negotiations wouldn't have as hard on Germany, which played a big part in the rise of Hitler. So, that might cancel out the WWII things they were "needed" for. The US has also caused more problems in, and around, Israel, and the greater ME, than it has solved. Oooo, a treaty ... but they helped overthrow multiple democracies, as well as committimg and supporting many war crimes in the area.

  2.  @cqtaylor  Well, if you're picking sides in a war, someone's going to dislike you, either way. Why would you expect otherwise? WWI didn't really have a clear bad guy. I think the US was on the right path staying out of that one. Not sure whose opinion you care about, on the pro overthrowing democratically elected leaders, and pro committing or supporting war crimes side of things.
