  3.  @harrydehnhardt5092  Canada isn't planning to reopen next week, so that's an irrelevant deflection. The US has a majority of morons, and is led by a moron. "Flattening" =/= "flattened". Getting the infection rate down to normal flu season flu levels, doesn't change the fact that it has 10x the mortality rate.

  5.  söder bröder  Sweden's response to a pandemic seems a bit insane, as well. No mass masks approach. No mass testing and containment approach. No lockdown approach. Pretty sure Trump would have loved responding by not doing much of anything.

  8.  söder bröder  Once it is largely contain, and testing is ahead of the infection rate, it's possible to keep it largely contained. That's what countries should be aiming for. Sweden is being stupid. There are multiple strains already, and countries are already reporting cases of reinfection. Just letting everyone get it, is about the dumbest approach possible.

  10.  @thorby8583  Germany has tested about 11 people per confirmed case. That's better than Italy, about 7 per confirmed. That's better than Spain, UK, US, Sweden, which are about 5 per confirmed, or lower. Canada, is at 15 per confirmed. Norway, which has just about flattened is at 20 per confirmed. Australia, S Korea, New Zealand, Iceland, all of which have flattened, are testing at 50+ per confirmed case. Germany isn't the best place to start.
