And, yes, the population increasing would increase the manpower needed to adhere to some of those obligations. Not sure how increasing the population would change a healthcare mandate. Likewise, it would just increase the manpower needed. According to the World Bank: The US is 52nd in doctors per capita. The US is 26th in nurses and midwives per capita. The US is 82nd in hospital beds per capita. Plenty of single payer countries beat them in supply.
