  1. The party pandered to the racists, then religious extremists, then the greedy, then anti-science nuts, then Tea Party loons, then MAGA loons ... it's now just a party of lunatics. They have to keep pandering to far right extremists and lunatics, because it's the only way to differentiate themselves from corporate Dems.
