@karmasutra4774 Domestic oil has sold at the global market price, since Reagan deregulated domestic oil, way back in 1981. Domestic hasn't been cheaper than foreign, ever since. Trump just happened to be president after the global market price dropped in 2015, and then dipped a little more during 2020 COVID. He did absolutely nothing, to lower oil prices.
