  2. ​ @dontaedrone4673  Oil companies aren't socialized. He's not their boss. They have zero incentive to flood the global market, drive down prices, and lose profits. That's why they are just sitting on thousands of already approved drilling sites.

  3. Plus, it doesn't even matter. Reagan deregulated domestic oil back in 1981. Domestic has sold at the same price as foreign, ever since. There just happened to be a global price drop in 2014, and prices actually went up under Trump.
