@Mariomario-gt4oy Well ... “Why is it so easy, then, so trivially easy - you could almost bet your life on it easy - to guess the young man’s religion?” ... arguing you could almost bet your life on guessing the religion of a suicide bomber is pretty damn close. Plus, he definitely seems to consider suicide bombings radically different than other kinds of bombings, when it's actually just a different delivery method.

@Mariomario-gt4oy People have knowingly sacrificed themselves over all kinds of things. What was the extreme ideology of say the Alamo guys, who knew they didn't have a chance?

@Mariomario-gt4oy Then why the hell would anyone bet their life that it's someone from a specific religion? So, what's the big difference between the Irgun planting a bomb in the King David hotel, someone wearing a bomb into a hotel, or the US droning a wedding or a bunch of farmers?

@Mariomario-gt4oy Bah, it's just a delivery method ... walking it to the target instead of dropping it, remote flying it, shooting it, ... and plenty of societies, including the US, glorify the "suicide mission".
