@jimohara When they introduced, and were the majority that passed, civil rights acts, which led to racists abandoning the party and the Republicans giving those racists a new home? Are you seriously under some delusion that the racist majorities in states that fought to keep slavery, that enacted Jim Crow laws, etc., suddenly became the least racist states, rather than them simply voting for a different party, making that the more racist party? You seem pretty clueless. Learn what "fascism" is, as well.
