  1. Cis het what? It's just the people, the "in groups" in power. Women, also have a huge role in it. It's corporate backed too. Those of conservative bent who can lead take advantage of other people's natural tendency to conservatism, add a few talking points and gain power and wealth with it by manipulating those led.

  2. Humanity has not changed. There will always be people more or less conservative or progressive. Earlier, there were many more conservative mindset than progressives and the laws were very bad overall. We shouldn't get to that. Balance is necessary.
