@mca521980 I don't think that's racist if everyone has to do it. I don't get the reasoning behind that. Illegal immigration is a problem even in our country and it must be so much of a bigger problem in a first world country. It would bring down wages due to people hiring illegally...and cause strain on social security systems. It's not fair. We here cannot imagine voting without the card. The names have to be in the roll and you have to show the card at the time of voting. There are still problems of booth capturing in some areas and goons voting for others but it would be much worse without the cards. Why can't they afford a card...? Barely costs half a dollar here and it stays for your entire life. As for losing it, we consider it a very very important document. You can get duplicates issued too. Digital authentication/digital cards would mean people can't complain that they lost it. It should be easy in the USA. We had an extremely good voter turn out and about 48% of the popular vote went to Modi, which is unprecedented because we have so many parties... I am kind of regretting it now, he is not handling the riots well, same as in the case of the Gujarat riots, and his policies have overly alienated several people to the extent that they are rioting. Hindus are a minority in some areas of India (north east) and here we are being targeted.

@mca521980 In India, every voter has an id. It's the proof of citizenship too.

@jackmccourt3542 Unionised workers are lazy...but that's valid.

No. He says nature acts on the population by the method of natural selection depending on what creatures are best suited to the environment (fittest). Good thing about humans is we change our environment.

@baltsosser I see. Yes that certainly can be the case. Union corruption, but often unions can be good for employees. It's like governments.....some work, some don't. No public sector unions though. Those never work.

@zero-se7ug By now 8th.

Only hard work, 110 hour weeks, no minimum wage, no unions, billionaire presidents, no social security, zero regulations, no free primary education can reduce poverty. Try it. The true American dream.

@jwil4286 Companies can ride rough shod over workers then. What is the solution?
1
@jwil4286 That seems very reasonable and sane. Public sector unions are 100% cancer.

@chemp231 It was a joke mate.
1
@randymagnum143 Probably best to keep it away mate
1
@baltsosser You want benefits for this vague collective notion of country or for the individual.

Define limited.

@ZacharyBittner good when he borrowed money.

Yeah, yours is low.

Pretty good if done well. I think both things should coexist

I'm an Indian...and the public school system is fuckd up, Any indian who can will never ever send their kids to public schools, except some Army schools. Also where the hell did you find the low cost private schools??? Can you tell? I'd love to see the business models... Guess I'll have to find them myself. They said there are studies. I'll look up the budget private schools. Andrew Coulson's series eh. I will see it. I want to make my own viable low cost school chains for the poor.
