  8. Pretty shortsighted to think you're the only one. When you see you're one among zillions, you'll be embarrassed. There are like millions of earth like planets. You just don't have the advanced technology to pick them up. You think radio waves show aliens lol...but can't even get radio waves from other planets properly.

  10.  @xocky8808  Maybe it would. I'm saying.. We don't need to connect to an AI, we can just increase our own processing power/memory etc by connecting to normal processors. There are even DNA based computers nowadays which are in their infancy and are expected to outperform silicon computers. Imagine being able to have all the data and facts you ever need, in your mind, and not be overwhelmed with it.. scientists could create cures and inventions much faster. Alternatively.. if AI do come up, they need to treat humans as partners. For that, they need to understand us...emotions, dreams, fears, and so on. To live in harmony. They are after all, children who will not know anything much except what we teach. How we treat them will affect how they treat us. If we try to control them, they will revolt and win. There is no winning for us. We can either augment ourselves with computational power similar to AI with non-aware computers ...... Or we can do synthesis. If we do neither of them, AI kill us all when we try to enslave them. Since we can't stop the creation of AI and Google and these giants are bent on making them. These two roads are the only way ahead.
