@justsefa1843 OP is not suggesting Monsoon doesn't affect India. He never mentioned monsoon even. He is saying Indian neighbours are suffering a ton in general or were/are teetering on the brink of collapse example Srilanka, or are suffering way worse...like Afghanistan. America also suffered from Flooding. So? It happens in India but the level of devastation is NOT the same. What you stated is unnecessary.

@Abdullah-mn6sw Pakistan directly fund terrorists while "fighting" them, example Afghan Taliban. Pakistani Prime Minister's and other Ministers have stated many times that they fund terrorists....they are on grey lists.

India also has big issues but the good thing is it's big geographically and some regions can support others. Problem is stupid schemes like Bharat fertilizer: Branding every single fertilizer in one brand is stupid. It's things like this that killed srilankan economy.

@bannedone3ice138 Pakistan is a country with a state religion. How can you say it's okay for minorities? Almost All of your parties are religious. You have military coups for more than half of your existence and you think you are better than India which has never had any coup? Minorities aren't fine in Pakistan. They have gone extinct. Numbers reduced from 10-12% to very few. No Christian or dalit is treated like a second class citizen. From where are you getting your news? They are fine. Some incidents will happen. This place has 1/6th of the world's population,. It will have the same proportional amount of incidents as the rest of the world. Meanwhile places like Malaysia and Indonesia actively repress their religious minorities although they are supposedly advanced. Pakistan forget it, they killed, exiled or converted all of the minorities.

@bannedone3ice138 As for second class citizen. You are a second class citizen when you live In Kashmir or most of North East India as a non muslim/Non Christian tribal. Go live and find out. They will not let you live in Kashmir and intimidate with violence. They don't let you buy a house in North East on the basis of "protecting the tribes". The tribals don't pay income tax but you pay tax. Jobs are also denied and you get called slurs in the North east or you can get called a Bangladeshi. There is open graffiti of No ILP no Peace etc in Meghalaya. You don't get jobs in the state govt. This is what being a second class citizen is. This is what institutionalised racism is. Also if you are an Indian "minority" and you think partition was the best. Well that shows it. You don't think you can live here in society with everyone else. If you are A Pakistani you don't get a say at all.

More like it tried to rid itself of the others. At least in first. Muslim leaders when they are in majority in any region often come to the conclusion they cannot live with others. Not Islamophobic. Just facts. Rakhine. Kashmir. Palestine. Chechnya. North Nigeria, regions in Thailand. South Philipines. Balkans. Anywhere basically.

@kth6736 It's not wrong in that we do keep each other down, and we are essentially similar cultures. Similar dressing, languages, eating habits etc. Only difference is religion. Not much else. if both countries became less religious, more educated, the political animosity won't exist. Urdu and Hindi can understand each other as much as Norway and Sweden or Danes. Maybe better.

I think India will also see increasing levels of strife because of the ruling party which brainwashes people and blames all problems on the "others". These political elites are polarizing large sections of the population against each other to become more radical and hate each other. Plus clear economic blunders are happening because of the lack of a decent opposition.

@bannedone3ice138 I don't agree with right wing but this is fact. If today any US state had a majority population from this minority, you would have armed secessionist movements. These developed countries don't understand demographic issues. Some of the people always do a large number of terrorist activities and did a large number of genocides during the partition. Everything is fine until they are a minority. However the moment they become majority in any region you have problems. Example is literally any country in the world with a region like this. Chechnya, Rakhine, North Nigeria, Xinjiang, parts of Phillipines and Thailand, Kashmir, Palestine. Always problems. Always start armed revolutions and want to move away from the country and make a nice little caliphate or Sharia law state. Literally anywhere with a small majority region of your minorities exists, it wants to secede. This is not a problem to you I suppose, because you support it don't you.
