You clearly haven't seen the news, prisons are so full that convicted criminals are getting early release...

Tim, important question. Given that prisoners who die while serving their sentence are automatically given a public inquest into their deaths... who in their right mind thinks that members of the military (in training or otherwise) that die on British streets get a lesser treatment than a convicted criminal? I would love a minister to go on record trying to justify that.

As a parent, I'm more annoyed by the sign where someone can't spell the word "off" - it really demonstrates a level of care for education - at home or in a school. Goggles are clearly so they don't get orange paint in the eyes. Interestingly, one of the ads that popped up while watching was a lady that proclaimed "too much information comes up in DBS checks" - I'm sorry, what?!? Skip!

Feminists wanted equality - fine. Regardless of the gender of those that designed the base security, and approved the rota system for the guards - they now bare some responsibility for the fact that the base security was breached. Everything from it being a fence that could easily be scaled (while carrying an electric scooter), through to not having people watching cameras to see them getting close to the fence. Everyone from the chief at the top, to the boots walking around the base should feel some responsibility. Equally - I was raised that actions have consequences. Good actions have consequences that you'll like. Bad actions have consequences that you likely won't. So the clowns with red paint need to feel the consequences that the legal system will (hopefully) bring to them. Attacking strategic infrastructure should definitely be treated as an act of terrorism. Lets forget all the politics for a moment - who's paying for those jets to be fixed & put back into service? No doubt that's coming out of our pockets - either via tax or the insurance company pushing up prices for everyone.
