The pair met up about a week after that and apparently shared another hug. Back when it all went "viral" Kaelberer posted a follow up video on his tiktok account.

  2. It happened about 2 years ago, and the officer posted a follow up (emotional but good) to his tiktok account about a week or 2 after. The officer received random gifts from folks when the story went viral, and passed quite a few on to the vet.
