Well, you say it was a Somali gang, and I learnt way back in highschool, that Somalia is in Africa, not Asia.

@StabilisingGlobalTemperature I wasn't saying anything about the groomings. I was replying to your "curious that they were not Asians." Somalia, is of course a predominantly Muslim country. There are also perfectly law abiding Muslims. Just like there have also been Christian preachers that are pedophiles, yet not all preachers are. Cause & effect, a religion does not cause a behaviour, but some with the behaviours are drawn to places they think they can get away with it.

@StabilisingGlobalTemperature when did I say all religions were the same? That's a bit like trying to claim all colours of the rainbow are the same, no? You make a lot of guesses, none of them are correct. I grew up just down the road from one of the London bombers, went to school with some of the same family, though I don't remember meeting that individual, I might have. I care little for the media descriptions of anyone's motives, they could label them pumpkins for all I care. I'd still enjoy Halloween, and your Somalia gang example would still be Afrikaans, not Asians (and they may also be Muslims, but that doesn't detract from other Muslims also being perfectly law abiding).

@StabilisingGlobalTemperature in fact, I just did a quick Google, the term "Muslim gang" turns up the predicted results, talking of prisons, grooming gangs etc. Change "Muslim" for "Islamist" or "Asian" or "Afrikaan" and you pretty much get the same results. Change it for "Christian," though, and the stories are all about high fives and converting to Christianity. Genuinely made me laugh to look at how skewed in one direction that things appear online.

@StabilisingGlobalTemperature not a book I'm familiar with, but I have read the Qur'an, the Bible, and the Torah. Not sure why you insisted on an answer to it, but as anyone who has read the Old Testament will agree, the Christians don't have a great basis with which to throw stones, either.

Tim, I'm sorry mate, but you have a bit of a false dichotomy going on in parts of this video. Example: "Is it right that my mum has to wait in line being people that have come into this country, when she's paid taxes all her life?" - well... the NHS is a first come first serve business. That's how the queues work, that's our free healthcare (for all, regardless of if they're a tourist or an 80 year old working class nan). Taxes pay for part of that. We also have an option for skipping the queue - paying for private health care. In the example, if your mum were in the wait before immigrants, she'd get an appointment to be sorted out, before them (unless, of course, your argument is that the NHS has corruption within it). Being British, means waiting your turn - to do otherwise is entitlement. In the last video, I commented that I have experience of the immigration system. You're not too far wrong - legal immigrants that contribute to society have millions of hoops to jump through to be allowed to stay. Illegal ones (who will still get NHS treatment under our system), typically don't come through an official border, or have a bank account, or other paper trail. Some get caught, some of those get deported, some "escape." But I still question the numbers reported. It seems to me like immigration is just a divisive topic, no different than Brexit was... and I, for one, would love to get us back to a United Kingdom. There's no easy answers in life, but the protests that are ultimately about poor quality service from the Police etc, should be held (regardless of who is highlighting the issue - that's not supporting the person, that's supporting the cause).
